The sculpture portrays Lord Murugan standing atop an inverted lotus base, accompanied by his vahana, the peacock, positioned behind him. The peacock is consistently depicted with its claws firmly grasping a small serpent. Lord Kumara is depicted with four arms; his lower right arm displays the Abhaya mudra, while his left arm exhibits the Varada mudra. Positioned diagonally to the right of the statue is the potent weapon of Lord Kumara, the sakthi Vel, adorned with the Tamil OM inscription. Adjacent, on the left diagonal side of the statue, is his flag referred to as the seval kodi with inscription of rooster on it
